NABUCO, granted by the French
Agence Nationale de la Recherche

January 1st, 2018

NABUCO is a research project granted by the French Agence Nationale de la Recherche for four years (Janaury 1st 2018 - December 31st 2021). The acronym NABUCO stands for NumericAl BoUndaries and COupling. The main scientific objectives of the project deal with numerical boundary conditions and coupling problems for hyperbolic and dispersive equations. The project is a continuation of some aspects of the former ANR project BoND (Boundaries, Numerics, Dispersion).

The members of the ANR project NABUCO belong to two partners:

Institut de Mathématiques de Toulouse, UMR CNRS 5219
Institut Camille Jordan, UMR CNRS 5208

First meeting of the ANR NABUCO

January 31st & February 1st, 2018

The first meeting of the ANR NABUCO has been held at the Institut de Mathématiques de Toulouse on January 31st and February 1st 2018. A mini-course has been delivered by Jan Nordström (Linköping University, Sweden) on numerical boundary conditions for evolution equations. The program was complemented with several talks on topics related to the project.
